Tim is a Partner within our Renewables, Power and Energy team, specialising in renewable energy asset risks throughout their lifecycle.
Tim has worked exclusively within the Power and Renewable Energy sectors. The last twelve years have been dedicated to advising developers and operators in risk identification, contract risk allocation, and the placement of suitable insurance solutions for renewable energy projects worldwide, specialising in Solar, Onshore and Offshore Wind. Tim has previously been the Head of Renewable Energy at Willis, the Chief Commercial Officer for Power at Aon in London and, most recently, the US Head of Renewable Energy for Aon, based in New York. He has become recognised as one of the leading insurance advisers within the Renewable Energy sector.
If Tim was not working for McGill and Partners, he would be following the snowboarding season around the world in any job possible.
