Andrew a Partner in our Marine and Cargo team, specialising in ports and transport liabilities in challenging territories.
Andrew’s professional career began with a degree in Geography, leading to a job as a shipbroker in London specialising in towage and salvage. After earning membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, he expanded his horizons by working abroad in Geneva and Singapore as a trader for CRC Cargo Recovery Consultants, focusing on damaged commodities. Throughout his career Andrew has held roles with the UK P&I Club, managing claims for Russian and Romanian owners; ITIC and TT Club where he served as an account executive overseeing members in the Middle East and South America; and assumed the role of General Manager at TTMS (Gulf) based Dubai, responsible for TT and ITIC members across the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. Returning to London, he took on the role of TT Club’s Loss Prevention Director before embarking on a secondment to UKTI as an International Business Specialist focused on ports.
Upon the conclusion of his secondment, he transitioned to Savi Performance Logistics (a Lockheed Martin company), where he specialised in Blockchain cargo tracing and RFID tags. Subsequently, Andrew joined Inchcape Shipping Services, followed by a move to Jardine Lloyd Thompson / Marsh, where he continued to leverage his expertise and leadership skills in the maritime and logistics industry.
