Bermuda

Julia is CEO of our Bermuda. She will be leading Bermuda office and supporting the build out of McGill Re globally.

Julia is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Casualty, Specialty, and Property Reinsurance, specializing in complex risk-linked placements. As President and Head of Portfolio Management at Stable Corporation, she led innovative risk mitigation solutions for illiquid commodities. Previously, she served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Peak Capital and co-founded both Brit Global Specialty Bermuda and Sussex Capital, enhancing underwriting and operational efficiencies.

Her deep expertise spans Insurance Linked Securities, Lloyd’s, and Bermuda-based (re)insurance, enriched by a fascination with the human factors that influence market dynamics. Holding a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Julia’s career is a blend of disciplined financial acumen and a commitment to personal growth.
