Rafael is a Partner in our Complex Property and Casualty team, specialising in construction.
Rafael started his insurance career in 2015 at AmWins Global before joining the newly formed Construction and Engineering team at BMS Group in 2016, where he stayed for over seven years developing and growing a large book of non-network construction (builders risk) and plant and equipment business, predominantly in the USA and Latin America. Rafael also has extensive experience in the management and placement of large infrastructure and mining projects around the world, both directly and as reinsurance of European cedants.
If Rafael was not working for McGill and Partners, he would be swimming and scuba diving back at his home place in the Canaries.
